Company History

In 1990, with a shared philosophy of clean competition but also of support, wanting to have access to a larger choice of products and stronger negotiating power, the five founding members decided to establish a buying group called the C.A.D.Q.

After four years, the group wanted to grow. In 1994, the decision to start recruiting and develop strategic alliances is put forward. A few years later, in April 2002, the Group Incorporated itself and became GROUPE UNIVEND INC.

In July 2006, still growing and becoming more important on the market, Univend Group inc. decides to open a Head Office and hire a General Manager to manage all communications between Members and Suppliers and develop services given to its members. The corporate image is developped and a corporate Web Site is launched in early 2007.

Today, Univend Group inc., boasts over 100 Members and generates over $46,000,000 annually. Agreements and Discounts have been negotiated with more than 40 national and regional suppliers that support the Group.
